Cochon Capitaliste 19-01-2007, 08:33 AM Its also fraud; The Office of the Attorney general, state of California
has been informed. You have to pay taxes in California if you reside
there. The voting and paying taxes go hand in hand. The Evleths will
soon be hearing from Schwartznegger der Governator

Really? It is well documented that they pay their taxes and, hence,
obey the law. The same could not be said of you, Stephen Bach; hence
your inability to return to the USA.

That is a piece of disinformation that can discourage others from voting
and therefore YOU have violated federal law in posting this item.
I am posting this to make others aware of your "error". Nor have you
actually informed the office of the Attorney General of the State of
California.
You posted this item for harassment purposes only. I am calling your bluff.

NO, being a current resident and paying taxes to the state are NOT a
requirement for absentee voting. Those living overseas and wanting to vote
can vote in the last state of they were registered in. There is
a Federal law and applies to national elections. Each state has
different rules for absentee voting in local elections;
We have been on the Santa Clara Country voter registration list since
we came here over 30 years ago, voting in the town of Los Gatos using
our resident address there as a reference point. Before
Schwartznegger became Governor, one had to reregister prior
to each election, but now the ballots arrive automatically
in the mails. In fact, he got our vote this year for that reason.
So as citizens of both France and the United States we have the right
to vote in both countries. We exercised that right. If you have
an official complaint you feel you should make, make it. Go to the
American Embassy and make it. Tell me the day and the time and
we will join you there, the FBI agent there will look forward
to meeting you since they already know about you.
In the meantime you remain just as much a phony as you have
always been.

Update: For the state of California, the following web page provides
the following information
http://www.ss.ca.gov/elections/elections_m.htm#perm
Permanent Absentee Voting (PAV)
Any registered voter may apply for permanent absentee voter status. If you
are a permanent absentee voter, you will automatically receive an absentee
ballot for each election. To become a permanent absentee voter, you must
complete an application, which is available from your county elections
official.
If you complete an application to become a permanent absentee voter, you
will retain this status as long as you vote in all statewide primary and
general elections. If you fail to cast a ballot in two consecutive statewide
general elections, you will be removed from the permanent absent voter list
and will need to reapply in order to restore status.
****
The stats are also available. For Santa Clara County (Silicon Valley),
around 12% of the total voters are PAVs, 14.6% for the whole State of
California, for the year 2004. I find this number surprisingly high
since mostly overseas voters would be in this group. I guess not.

My sympathies, Donna, on Earl apparently being laid up for some
reason and thus needing to dictate his comments to you to post under
his handle. Since I cannot detect a single illiterate grammar or
spelling error here or in some other recent posts under his handle.
Is it any ailment we should be concerned about, Donna?

There is absolutely no way that either Earl or Coughlan would vote
for Sarkozy. Don't forget that Sarkozy is Jewish. If bin Laden and
Sarkozy were the only two names on the voting ballot... both Earl
and Coughlan would cast their vote for bin Laden, simply because
they would never vote for a Jewish candidate.
Hell... what am I saying? They would both vote for bin Laden no
matter who else was on the voting ballot.
