My step-daughter is moving into a student flat in Islington & I haven't got a clue how much to give her to cover bills..
Can anyone give me a very rough idea of how much they're paying or anything??
Thanx

Islington is a great placve to live, but not the cheapest.
If she is sharing a house or a flat, you can probably find somewhere for rent between £80-130 depending on the size and whether the bills are included.
If bills aren't included they will be less than £7.50 per week unless she uses a lot of appliances often.
Then there's transport costs. Depending on where her college is! Buses are pretty cheap, I think a weekly zone 1 bus pass is about £10, the tube more expensive, but I love cycling in London - Just tell her to buy a decent lock if she wants to use a bike, and always lock it through the back wheel, thats one of the most expensive bits of the bike!
Hope that helps.
