Best VPN for Students to unlock restricted sites [Giveaway]

| December 15, 2014 | 4 Comments

Students, like all other online consumers are facing problems at some point, with restricted content, internet censorship, web filtering and online privacy issues.

It’s not a secret anymore that Internet censorship in the United Kingdom takes diverse forms and this country has been already listed as the “Enemies of the Internet” in 2014 by Reporters Without Borders.

Beside the restrictions applied within the UK (online movie websites, p2p websites etc), international students face restrictions applied within their own country.

So, while in UK, as an international student you might not be able to access streaming channels and watch your favorite show (e.g FranceTv, ABC iView, ZDF, RTLnow, Zatoo, FoxNews, Aljazeera Sport, Netflix and much more).

If censorship and location based restrictions are not enough, don’t worry, your university comes with the almost perfect web filter and if this is still not enough, your ISP will keep their eyes on your online activity.

What if, with a simple solution, all these restrictions whether you are in UK, or in any other country on this world, would end?

ibVPN is a simple and straightforward solution that will protect your online privacy and will provide you access to blocked websites. The process:

Get a VPN package -> install the VPN client for your device (Windows, Mac, iOS, Android) -> connect to a server from the list -> you online activity is private & you get access to blocked websites.

For media streaming, the best approach is ibDNS, our SmartDNS solution. Compared to VPN which changes your real IP address, the DNS will not affect your internet connection speed. To better understand the differences between these two services, here is an easy to understand infographic:
