Sponsored Video: Acer Presents the Aspire E 11 – Fan-less, Powerful and Student Cheap!

| July 10, 2014 | 0 Comments

In a world of media obsession with shiny Macs and lightweight Chromebooks, the Aspire E 11 really does cut through the rest of the Windows pack and demands to be noticed.

This is especially true for on the go, style-conscious students who love their gadgets. A few things I love about the Aspire E 11 is that it is lightweight and fan-less. Why is being fan-less such a biggie? Well it’s quiet, won’t burn your crotch and will give you longer battery life at the same time.

Take a look at Acer’s recent video for the device.

I have to admit that at first glance and due to its thin profile, I thought it was a Chromebook, but rest assured it’s compact (11.6 inches) and powerful – it runs Windows 8.

How do these devices get away without having a fan? Well they still have hard drives rather than solid state drives and so there’s a little noise but definitely a whisper and these laptops have some advanced Intel chips that blow others out of the water in terms of efficiency and power at this level.

Much like almost all of our portable devices nowadays, the ability to save to the cloud is made seamless with the built in connectivity to AcerCloud – which keeps your files accessible on all your connected devices.

Let us know what you think about the Acer Aspire E 11 and Windows 8 in the comments below.
