The Snow Centre in Hemel Hempstead will be celebrating the new season with their Winter Launch Weekend on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th September. So if you have ever thought about skiing and snowboarding lessons now is the time to pull up your snow socks and get going. The Snow Centre will be offering great discounts and there are several interesting attractions, including a Snow and Rock demo. As a student of English Literature in central London I studied various writers who wrote about London. I had arrived from rural North Buckinghamshire and had absorbed the poetry of William Wordsworth about the sinfulness of city life and its temptations, presumably alehouses and brothels.
